按标准规定、货叉使用状况应每年检查一次;在恶劣工况条件下使用的叉车更需要频繁地进行检查，以查出任何缺陷或永久变形，采取有关技术措施，从而消除不安全隐患。叉车货叉的检验应由技术人员进行，发现货叉产生了有碍安全使用的迹象，失效和明显变形等任何缺陷，必须停止使用，只有经过严格修复，并经测试验收合格后方可使用。
